Forbes: South Florida’s Privé Residences Offer Luxury Living on a Private Island

Have you ever wanted to live on a private island that comes with luxury amenities but still maintain proximity to the mainland? Now you can in South Florida’s new residency development, Privé.

“What separates Privé’s amenities from other developments in the serene island feel and view you have from each room which has floor to ceiling glass overlooking the water,” says Michael Neumann, head of BH3 Realty and director of sales at Privé. “The buildings, and every room in them, stare at the water. We are a private island that is only accessible by crossing over a bridge to reach us and going through a guarded gatehouse.”

The two tower structure is “surrounded by water in all directions, unobstructed views from every angle [and] protected wetlands,” he adds. The development also features a 54-foot slip marina that accommodates boats up to 140-feet, along with a pier for guests to dock their yachts at and fish from. Privé also boasts its own private beach where guests can embark on kayaking or paddle boarding adventures, or relax with butler service. If you prefer to do your swimming on land, there are also two swimming pools available.

In addition to its water amenities, the building also features an assortment of features: a 10,000-square-foot gym and spa, a lighted tennis court, a wine cellar and cigar lounge, a private dining room, a teenager’s room, a children’s playground, a library and a catering kitchen. Neumann adds that there are multiple social rooms with features ranging from pool tables and a bar setting to televisions.

Residents will also have access to outdoor dining terraces, summer kitchens, an onsite café and in-residence room services. For those who prefer to cook at home, the Miami penthouses in Privé offer kitchen islands that stretch 22-feet long. All of the units range in price from $2.35 million to $8.5 million, and boast more room than most residences in the area, Neumann says. He adds that the development spans eight and a half acres for only 160 residences, while “most properties in this region put 200-300 units on development sites that are 20% of the size of Privé.” About 80% of the units have already been sold.

In addition to be located close to the beach, he adds that the local area offers shopping, fine dining restaurants and two airports. Although Privé offers an assortment of luxury features, its residences will still have easy access to everything off the private island.

“It is an oasis within an urban neighborhood,” Neumann says. “From the second you go through the guardhouse, you know Privé is special and different. It doesn’t have that busy feeling. It’s not a concrete jungle like other buildings. It’s serene and has beautiful landscaping with water views everywhere. The low density and privacy are what it’s all about.”
