The developers behind Privé at Island Estates, the luxury island development opening this summer on the last buildable private island left in South Florida, have registered the development with the New York Attorney General to market and sell to NYC residents

AVENTURA, Fla. – The developers of Privé at Island Estates have officially filed to register the project with the New York Attorney General to market and sell the new residential development to the ever-growing demographic of New York City residents interested in purchasing luxury condominium homes in the greater Miami region.

Privé at Island Estates is scheduled for completion with move-in dates starting this summer. Now that the towers are near completion and American buyers can see their potential home, traffic from U.S. buyers is increasing.

Already the project has sold 70 percent of its 160 ultra-luxury, flow-through residences that feature 360-degree water views due to its prime location. Of these sales, the project has seen great interest from New Yorkers, prompting the developers to take the extra financial step to court this demographic.

The state of New York requires that all offering plans are filed with the state attorney general if developers are based outside of the state (or country) and plan to advertise, market or sell their condos to New York residents. The costly process is known to take up to a year on average, and Privé at Island Estates has officially received its approval as of this week.

Redefining the Aventura neighborhood by setting the precedent for ultra-luxury homes, Privé at Island Estates is anchored in the waters of the Aventura Intracoastal on the eight-acre Privé Island, the last buildable private island in South Florida. The exclusive island is home to two iconic 16-story boutique luxury towers, each with 80 flow-through units ranging from 2,585 square feet to more than 9,500 square feet. The multimillion dollar homes are a collaboration of a local star team, including: developers Gary Cohen and BH3’s Greg Freedman, Daniel Lebensohn and Charles Phelan; celebrated architect Sieger-Suarez; and public spaces designed by Interiors by Steven G.

Privé at Island Estates offers five-star resort-style amenities with 70,000 square feet of public space, including a 360-degree running path outlining the island, outdoor summer kitchens and dining terraces, a pier, two expansive lap pools and a private marina with 48 slips holding up to 135-foot yachts.

Each luxury tower boasts 10,000 square feet of amenities, including: a waterfront, two-story fitness center and state-of-the art spa with steam room and sauna, children’s playroom, social entertainment rooms, private dining rooms, library, wine room, cigar room, business meeting centers, dog grooming salon, and design-your-own hobby rooms. Both towers have topped off and the project will be ready to move in by this summer. Residences start at $2.2 million.
